Dock 'n' Roll

The IVA-W505's motorized faceplate opens up to reveal a DVD-CD slot and dedicated Blackbird docking station. Your PMD-B200 Portable Nav can now be docked directly inside the IVA-W505 Double DIN AV head unit, turning your dash into a convenient and larger 7" touch screen control center. With so many ways to listen to thousands of songs, now you can get super-fast access to Playlist, artist, album, song, podcast, genre and composer, even use QuickSearch to access your radio stations. Large control buttons and a Touch Screen make it easy to search all sources, including iPod, Satellite radio and HD radio. No interruptions, while you search, so you can keep enjoying your music.

Bluetooth Wireless Technology

Don't fuss or fiddle with your phone and say goodbye to uncomfortable headsets and earpieces. Get the convenience of carrying on phone conversations in your car*, hands-free!

This unit is Bluetooth wireless technology ready so you can add a KCE-350 adapter to pair up your cell phone with your head unit. Now make and receive phone calls conveniently with both hands on the wheel and your eyes on the road. View caller information including caller ID, missed, dialed, received calls and even phonebook right from the head unit display. Speak using the supplied microphone, then listen through your car's speakers. You can set up your cell phone/head unit to automatically answer your calls and even have your phone automatically connect as soon as you start your car. With select compatible phones with streaming audio capability, you can listen to and control music stored on your phone and have it stream through your Alpine system.

Satellite Radio Ready Satellite Service

SIRIUS or XM, Alpine brings your choice of satellite radio inside your car. Add the  interface for your portable SIRIUS Plug-n-Play device and get automatic Game Alert and Song Alert services, plus convenient program replay and pause functions. The IVA-W505 also supports the new XM Mini Tuner solution (*sold separately), so now you can conveniently use the XM Mini Tuner in your vehicle.
